All you Need to Know About the Redhead

Red hair vary from dark orange to copper color. The hair is often referred to as pale strawberry blonde - I have to admit that this description hits me! Red hair is characterized by high levels of red pigment, reflecting lower levels of the base of dark pigments. Natural red hair is usually complemented with pale skin and freckles, and no evidence of natural redheads are portrayed as fire tempers! I do not know if this is true, but I must admit I found a little red fire enough.

Natural Redheads are very special - just a small part of the world population has been blessed with that rarest of all the natural colors! United States, only 6% of the population has red hair in Scotland and Ireland, while the figures are more than 13% and 10%. Apparently the reason these percentages based on the world's population moves that took place over thousands of years.

What many people do not realize is that the red hair gene can skip generations and may appear without warning three, four or even five generations. In men, often appears in facial hair, but nowhere else.

Throughout the centuries, redheads have been revered and feared, adored and adorned the Queen Boadicea, Mary Magdalene, Queen Elizabeth first, and a series of pre-Raphaelite beauty. Tiziano color named after the artist of the same name that immortalized the red in his paintings.

Natural red you may need to tolerate teasing and "ginger" jokes, but is not in question, amazing hair, colorful and attractive red color can be. What is to change yourself for a red aesthetically - why not? Many natural Reds have a question of wisdom, because there are many out there who dye their hair the other way around. But if the fire is blocking what you want, the most important thing you should consider whether it is skin tone. Redheads have natural light skin and green eyes or blue, so if you're olive or tanned skin than it might seem a little 'strange. Red color can be applied to all kinds of colors and techniques of Palestine, more subtle glow of the brightest fire. Red hair is not usually a fantastic shine and can be a real show stopper!

Blood Banks Also Need Viagra Dose

It’s hard to argue with blood transfusions. Each year, nearly 5 million Americans receive them, and for many patients it’s a definitively life-saving therapy. There is, of course, a risk in transmitting diseases like hepatitis and HIV through transfusion, but modern operations can all but eliminate that threat. Curiously, however, there have been persistent observations about another problem with blood transfusion: In some settings, blood transfusions worked less effectively than expected, but no one knew exactly why. Now two groups at Duke University may have found the reason: the loss of the molecule nitric oxide from stored blood.

Nitric oxide is one of those "big" molecules. Its first biological effects were described in the 1970s, and in the 1980s it was determined that the gas contributes to the normal dilation of blood vessels. This led to an avalanche of research, a 1998 Nobel Prize for its discoverers, and, most famously, the creation of Viagra. (For those of you who are wondering, nitric oxide is not laughing gas. That’s nitrous oxide. Mixing up the two could presumably cause some very undesired results.)

In papers published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, two teams at Duke showed that the nitric oxide normally found in red blood cells disappeared within a few hours of the blood being processed for transfusion. When animals in lab studies received transfusions of the nitric oxide–depleted blood, their blood vessels did not dilate to normal levels, decreasing the amount of blood—and oxygen—that gets delivered to muscle and other tissue. Replacing the nitric oxide, a relatively simple procedure, made the transfused blood effective at expanding blood vessels and delivering more oxygen.

This is the kind of study everyone likes. It answers a question that has been bothering people for a long time, the answer makes sense, and the potential solution is straightforward. If this work can be duplicated in other animals and then in humans, it could go a long way toward making blood transfusions a safer and more effective option for patients who need them.
